Returning to Early Christian Living

ABOUT US
The Living Room is a place for those in the body of Christ seeking the truth of worship. Some of you may be tired of the usual "church" scene. The ritualistic services and performance atmosphere without the true presence of God. We are here to help you return to the way the early Christians lived. In communion with the God of all and in unity with the Body of Christ.
THE ASSEMBLY
In the Bible, the Hebrew word for the gathering of believers is Qahal which means "Assembly".
We, the Body of Christ are the Assembly. One Body, One Assembly under One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism.
WHAT'S ON THIS SITE
On this site, you will find Biblical lessons and resources, podcasts, radio broadcasts and more to help you in your daily walk with Christ.

We are also providing resources and connections for starting house fellowships in your city.
HOW DO YOU JOIN
In order to become a part of the Assembly, you must be born again. Yehoshua said 'Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5)
Repent and be baptized in the Name of Yehoshua HaMashiach for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38)
BACK TO THE BASICS
The early Christians gathered in homes, breaking bread daily (Acts 2:41), by the riverside (Acts 16:13) or wherever two or three were together ( Matthew 18:20). At that time there were no "church buildings" Yehoshua said that He does not dwell in temples made by hands (Acts 7:48)
Yehoshua is calling His people back to the basics, back to that pure worship, back to serving Him in manner and method He ordained. We were never called to "church". We were never called to be members of various denominations in different buildings with different beliefs.
Yehoshua never established church buildings and He never wanted us to be in them. Even the history of the word "church" reveals that it comes from the name of a
greek goddess. So much of idolatry has infiltrated the way we worship, preach, sing and fellowship. Let us do away with the tainted influences of the world and other religions.
Let's get back to the basics. Even as the early christians were unified in faith, so are we called to be unified in faith, a single Assembly of believers, one body of Christ. The early christians healed the sick, raised the dead, saw thousands of souls saved, worked together as a community. They were on fire for the LORD and everything they did was in service to Him. They had true relationship and true worship. Let's get back to early Christian living and see a true move of Yehoshua in us.
